Consumer Jungle is a volunteer non-profit based in North Central Washington State that connects teachers and students with financial education opportunities. Our vision is for every student to receive a quality financial education prior to graduating high school.
Sheena Town Financial Literacy Event at WestSide High School
On April 26, 2025 WestSide High School hosted a hands-on financial literacy event called Sheena Town. More than 100 students participated in the all-day event, learning how to budget for planned and unplanned expenses. Since 2021, Wenatchee School District requires all students to take a financial literacy class to graduate.
Professional Development for Personal Finance Educators
Meg Lovercamp, Business and Personal Finance Teacher at Wenatchee High School, utilizes professional development opportunities provided by Consumer Jungle and the Next Gen Personal Finance Academy to help students prepare for their financial futures.

We connect teachers with engaging, high quality training opportunities such as Next Gen Personal Finance Academy.
Supporting school programs
We provide financial and volunteer support to start new financial education programs and classroom projects.
Consumer Jungle accepts grant applications from regional educators throughout the year. The Board reviews applications on a monthly basis.
