Favorite Class and Why:

My favorite class in high school is engineering. These courses are skill builders for students who are interested in the innovating fields, such as myself. From a young age, I've been interested in technology, moving parts, and mechanisms. I discovered my interest when I was six years old and my mother's vacuum cleaner had stopped working. I examined under the vacuum head and found a smoldered wire attached to the motor, and replaced it with a paper clip and electrical tap, resulting in a functional vacuum again. From there, my passion for engineering continued to grow.

Hobby or Your Favorite Thing to do in Your Free Time:
Usually when I can, I like to tinker with broken devices and/or appliances. Other wise I enjoy reading books to pass the time. My favorite type of books to read are fictional fantasies, such as the "Percy Jackson and The Olympians" series.
Clubs or Extra-Curricular Activities:
I'm not currently participating in any after-school activities. However, I was on the Palo Verde Robotics Team in 2014 when I was a freshman. My team entered in the Vex robotics competitions and made it to the semifinals toward the end of the vex season.
Plans after High School/College:
After graduating, I'll be serving in the U.S. Army Reserves for a term. Then I plan on attending a university through the ROTC program in training of becoming an officer. I plan to study mechanical engineering, and pursue in a career at a technical facility.
Favorite Personal Finance Topic:
I like discussing budgeting, which is planning spending based on the estimated costs of a person’s needs. Making a “spending plan” is basically guessing how much one is willing to spend depending on expected (and even unexpected) expenses.
Interesting Fact:
I am a Christian who believes in God, and worship at a Christian church.
