Take 5! Picture Your Success Contest

The Take 5! Picture Your Success photo contest is supported by The University of Arizona’s Take Charge America Institute for Consumer Financial Education and Research and its Consumer Jungle program. Consumer Jungle is a website designed to motivate young adults to practice healthy money habits in a fresh and interactive way.

Individuals, ages 12-25, are encouraged to submit a photo journal that contains 5 photographs with text that represent them obtaining their financial goal. The photo journal must be created digitally (see “Photo Journal Rules”). Submit your photo journal of you obtaining one of your financial goals (in a creative, visually appealing, and accurate way) pertaining to at least one of the topics outlined below:

  • Savings
  • SMART Goals
  • Financial Life Cycle
  • Depository Institutions

All photo journals must be uploaded to Consumer Jungle (see “Photo Journal Submission”) by November 16, 2012 at 5:00 pm PT to be entered in the contest. A review committee will evaluate each photo journal in a blind review and will select one Grand Prize winner and three Runners-Up based on the photo journal’s ability to showcase how you have or will obtain your financial goal, the creativity of the photo journal, the visual appeal of the photos, and the accuracy of the message (see “Selection of Winners”). The Grand Prize winner (winning an iPad) and up to three Runners-Up (each winning a $100 iTunes gift card) will be notified by December 3, 2012 via email and will be featured on the Consumer Jungle website (see “Prizes”).
